Teesside is the southern end of our patch and the most commercially weighted — Yarm, Eaglescliffe, Ingleby Barwick, Wynyard, Nunthorpe, Great Ayton and Stokesley, alongside genuine commercial and industrial work around Middlesbrough and Stockton. The domestic stock here skews later and larger than in Tyneside, so the common jobs are two-storey extensions, garden rooms and resin drives rather than the terrace conversions we do in the city. Yarm has a conservation area covering its historic high street and the surrounding Georgian property, which needs the same careful approach as Corbridge or Alnwick.
