Why us
Why Eaglescliffe homeowners choose us
Time-served in five trades
Bricklaying, joinery, plastering, plumbing and electrical — served properly, not picked up on the way. In the industry since 1986.
Ex-Forces owned
8 years in the British Army between two stints in the trade. Timekeeping and tidiness are not extras here.
One firm for the whole job
Groundworks, brickwork, joinery, plastering, plumbing and electrical under one roof. You are not hiring five trades and refereeing when they blame each other.
The local picture
Builders in Eaglescliffe, done properly
Eaglescliffe is largely twentieth-century detached and semi-detached housing on regular plots, which makes it straightforward ground to build on and one of the easier places on our patch to get an extension through. Extensions, garage conversions and garden rooms are the bulk of the work, with driveways a close second — the plots are wide enough that a drive is often as much about turning space as parking. That ease is worth being concrete about: regular plots mean fewer boundary complications, the ground generally takes standard foundations without special measures, and the twentieth-century stock has cavity walls rather than solid, which simplifies both insulation and any structural opening. It shows up in the programme as much as the price. On driveways, the plot widths mean the design question is usually turning circle rather than parking spaces, so a drive that lets you come out forwards is worth more than one that fits an extra car.

In their own words
Trusted by homeowners across the North East
Real customers, real names, real jobs.
More than most of our patch. Regular twentieth-century plots and good ground make it one of the easier places to get an extension through and to build once it is approved. That shows up in the programme as much as in the price.
On these plot widths a drive is often as much about turning space as parking — being able to come out forwards rather than reverse onto the road. That changes the shape of it more than the choice of material does.
Both work on the ground here. Resin is seamless and quieter underfoot; block is easier to lift and relay if a service ever needs digging up. What matters more than either is the base underneath, laid for the ground that is actually there rather than to a standard depth.
None. Free site visit and free written quote, same as everywhere else on the patch.
